Addresses that permanently cannot receive e-mail are blocked automatically across SmartMailer, so nothing is sent to them from any address book again. Recipients who mark an e-mail as spam are added to the unsubscribe address book of that campaign.

GDPR, data in the EU and unsubscribes
For the contacts you upload to SmartMailer, you are the controller and SmartMailer is the processor. What this means in practice:
Data processing agreement
The agreement on the processing of personal data under Art. 28 GDPR is Annex 1 to the terms and conditions. It is concluded when you activate your account and accept the terms, you do not sign it separately.
Data in the EU
We process personal data primarily in the EU/EEA and deliver e-mails through Amazon Web Services in an EU region. When the service ends, we delete the data within 30 days or hand it over to you as an export, as you choose.
Unsubscribes and consent
The app checks that every campaign contains an unsubscribe link, and e-mails also carry a header for one-click unsubscribe in the mail client. Unsubscribes are written to the address book you choose. You obtain the recipients' consent to receive e-mails, and we recommend verified (double opt-in) contact collection.

SmartMailer is for businesses only, not for consumers. It cannot be used for businesses or campaigns involving alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes and refills, gambling or drugs. If we find out, we may cancel the account without refunding the subscription. Full list in Art. V of the terms and conditions

These prices do not include VAT. Monthly amounts are only the annual payment divided by twelve and are rounded.
Top tier: 100 000 contacts for € 3 125 per year (€ 2 500/year when paying for two years).
The service supports at most 100 000 contacts.
Tiers are not continuous: you pay for the nearest tier your number of contacts fits into (for example, 12 000 contacts fall into the 30 000 tier). In the largest tier the price per contact no longer drops, because sending and deliverability costs grow with volume.
The number of contacts counts unique e-mail addresses of active subscribers across all your projects. The same address in several address books or projects counts once, unsubscribed and deleted contacts do not count. When your contacts outgrow the tier, you order a higher tier in the app for one or two years, and we deduct the whole unused months of your current subscription from the price.
Paid tiers do not limit the number of e-mails sent, you only pay by the number of contacts.
In every plan, including the free trial, we add a small "Sent via SmartMailer.cz" footer to the e-mails you send. A paid plan does not remove it automatically. If you need it removed, contact support.
The trial is limited to 50 000 e-mails sent and 10 campaigns with at least 10 recipients, whichever comes first. Campaigns with fewer recipients do not count towards the campaign limit. The limit ends when you switch to a paid plan.
After signing up, you order a paid plan in the app on the Plan page, even during the trial. We send you an invoice payable by bank transfer within 14 days, and the plan is activated automatically once the payment arrives. The paid period (1 or 2 years) runs in full from the day the payment arrives and the trial does not count towards it; if you order during the trial, the trial ends on that day.
If you do not continue after the trial, sending campaigns stops. We do not delete your account or data: you can still sign in, download your contacts and order a plan at any time. If you close your account, we delete the data permanently within 30 days.

How do I pay, and will I get an invoice?
A plan is paid in advance for one year, or for two years with a 20% discount. After you order in the app, we send you an invoice payable within 14 days by bank transfer. Companies based in the Czech Republic are invoiced in Czech crowns, all others in euros. We do not offer card payments or monthly payments.
What are the limits on contacts and e-mails?
The price of a paid plan depends only on the number of contacts, we do not limit the number of e-mails sent. We count unique e-mail addresses of active subscribers across all your projects, unsubscribed and deleted contacts do not count. A campaign that exceeds your prepaid tier by more than 10% cannot be sent, but you can order a higher tier in the app at any time. The trial is limited in e-mails sent and campaigns, the exact numbers are in the price list.

How do I move my contacts from another tool?
Export your contacts from your current tool (for example Mailchimp) to a CSV file and upload it to an address book. During the import you map the columns of the file to the fields of the address book, so you do not need to edit the file first. You can also send contacts through the REST API or from your online store through a ready-made integration.
How does SmartMailer handle GDPR?

Do you have a partner programme?
Yes. When you bring in a new customer through your link and they pay for a plan, you get a commission (500 CZK by default) and you both get one month of your plan free. The customer is credited to you if they sign up within 90 days of clicking your link and do not arrive through another partner link in the meantime. You will find your link and the programme terms in the Affiliate and referrals section after you sign in.
